Hi Chuck, All of your lenses will work on a Pentax digital. When using the takumar lenses, you'll have to shoot in manual mode and set the aperture on the lens. With a push of a button, the camera will then set the shutter speed. The field of view that your lenses produce will change. The 28-105 will have approximately the same fov as a 42-157. The kit lens is at least as good as the 28-105. It's not bad at all. Some of the other new Pentax wides, like the DA 14/2.8, the DA 16-45/4 and the DA 12-24/4 are very good glass. Go Pentax digital and enjoy. But you might want to wait for the K10 with 10 megapixels and in-camera image stability correction. It's going to be a nice piece.
