Buying an MZ-5n failed (it was killed in transit), so I ended up with a Z-1, and now a Z-1p. I must say I still use the MZ-50 surprisingly often. Certainly more often than I was expecting. The only real problems are it's slow interface and lack of flash exposure compensation. That's often offset by it's size and weight.
