hi folks.. haven't seen (yet) the movie... but just wanted to share my thoughts...
I've been here in Iqaluit for the past 3 years or so... honestly... in this tiny time frame, I *think* things are changing for real... I don't know if I can say it "for sure", as these are just my "insights" without any scientific background... but I don't believe it'd be "normal" to see +6C in the middle of February, as it happened this year... I remember I've experienced -60C windchill in March maybe 2 years ago! I have no idea if this is just a "natural" shift... but.. it's really "weird"... it's been raining a LOT lately... and from what I've read before... it seems like the Arctic used to be just as dry as the Sahara! Greetings from the "warm" Arctic! :) Ed Ed Maruyama [EMAIL PROTECTED] ICQ# 2590107 http://www.flickr.com/photos/edmaruyama Iqaluit - Nunavut Canada "All in all it's been a rocky road, twists and turns along the way... But, I still pray for tomorrow, all my hopes, my dreams... don't fade away... Don't fade away..."
