Part of the web handling secret is the DA 12-24 lens, which is very sharp. That was the tool used here. But beyond that, I shoot RAW, convert to a Pro Photo colorspace, 144 megabyte 16-bit file (the max interpolation for the PSCS RAW converter). I open in PhotoShop, sharpen at 261%, 1.5 pixel, threshold 11. Save as a Tiff. Then I downsize it to 13 inches on the long side by 72 dpi. I look at it at 100%. If it needs a bit more sharpening, I usually give it another 60%, threshold 11, 1 pixel. This file was not sharpened after downsizing. I then convert the colorspace to SRGB and do a "Save for Web."
