To bad you didi not tell me at GFM you were interested in that. I had my Nikon 
70-200 F2.8
VR with me. You could have 
held that to see about weight.

I think the Sigma is a tad lighter, but not 100% on that. All i know is the 
f2.8 versions
of lenes, as Bruce noted anr edamn 
heavy.

But, love the VR
