As most of you will recall I've been trying to get an answer from Pentax as to whether they can fix the fogged/cracked element in the FA 28-70 lens. Sent it to Colorado last week, got a snail-mail reply today.
Well, the good news is that they _can_ fix it. Sounds like they'll pretty much rebuild the whole thing. The bad news is that it will run $87.00. ;-( Not sure it's really worth it.
