I wouldn't think of trying to install siding with an air nailer, but thanks 
for the warning.
Sometimes a hammer is the best tool.
I bought one of those little Makita 18 volt impact screwguns a while back, 
and have made a lot of use of it doing small framing and assembly jobs.
They are the cat's ass for screwing down subfloor.
For a small job, I'd rather use it than haul the compressor onto the 
jobsite.
I have broken my wrist enough times that a hammer is a fairly painful tool 
for me, so anything that allows me to avoid using one is a good thing.
