Use the option on the camera to set a custom/manual white balance ...
on the DS:
- get to the custom white balance mode in the Fn menu
- set up the camera to record the custom white balance
- fill the frame with the white card in the light that you want to
balance for
(or use the custom function to limit the sensitive area to the
spot meter circle)
- release the shutter
- accept the white balance setting by pressing the OK button.
See page 113 in the *ist DS manual... or similar in the D, DL, DS2,
DL2 manuals. :-)
