While sitting in the living room of my friend's house, I noticed how the
light from the skylight was falling on a single leaf of the philodendron,
so I grabbed the trusty Manfrotto, got into a gawd-awful position beneath
the leaf, and made this little snap using the K24/2.8 in "macro mode."
The pic is pretty much straight from the raw converter. I've just about
got the converter dialed in so with a good exposure there's almost no need
to tweak fiddle around except for some subtle color balance and exposure
adjustments. Bada-bing! Into Photoshop for some final attention to
details, and I'm finished. Reading "The Book" and spending a little time
over on a couple of Photoshop forums has really saved me time and energy.

istDS, K24/2.8 in "macro mode" @ f/11, 1-sec shutter speed, ISO 200

Please forgive the large file size: 280K 504x704 - I goofed ... if anyone
cares, I'll post something smaller.
