Mike, that was my only film camera that used aulto-focus.  I
bought mine for $550
in 1996 ---

One thing to watch out for -- this camera does not liked to
be dropped even a little bit
or bumped into anything.... and there is one problem that
might occur that the camera will
not warn you about.

I had really really important photos - 2 rolls, which I
dashed off to a processor 
immediately -  were blank.  Reason? the leaves of the
curtain got tangled and never opened.
there wasn't a clue anything was wrong... all I had done was
lightly bump the camera against
the glove compartment door when I was getting out of a car.  

I can stil see every frame I took... too long a story to
bore the list with as to why
these were so critical - but it was Scrabble championship
related.  And some funny pictures
of a Mary Kay convention going on at the same time.

So treat it with kid gloves and you'll be happy.
