While I know you cannot compare this with anything new, the Intel graphics with shared memory has been the bottleneck for anything I do with it. I am not a gamer, nor am I doing any 3D work with it, but comparing this machine with a slightly newer Dell notebook with a dedicated graphics card shows how poor it is. So I am a little gun-shy when it comes to lower-end graphics built into a notebook.
I also plan to run Windows is a virtual session on the Mac, so performance is a concern. I use Corel Draw for a lot of data presentations and lecture notes and this is really taxes my current machine. Thanks for the advice.
