My current machine (three years old) is an early ASUS Celeron/Pentium
M notebook. While I know you cannot compare this with anything new,
the Intel graphics with shared memory has been the bottleneck for
anything I do with it. I am not a gamer, nor am I doing any 3D work
with it, but comparing this machine with a slightly newer Dell
notebook with a dedicated graphics card shows how poor it is. So I am
a little gun-shy when it comes to lower-end graphics built into a
notebook.

I also plan to run Windows is a virtual session on the Mac, so
performance is a concern. I use Corel Draw for a lot of data
presentations and lecture notes and this is really taxes my current
machine.

Thanks for the advice.

Perry.
