Why do i take pictures.

Well the horses make me money.<g>

However...

I take my personal photos for probably this reason. I tend to find myself
living in the
past, or wanting to
live in the past, so to speak. I don't take well to changes, radical or not.
Stouffville
is getting a Wal-Mart. I
m having difficulty dealing with this.:-)

For that reason, having rampant development in the area i reside in, makes me
want to
capture the
existing, simpiler way of life, the farm and its people and machineas and
animals, before
they are all
gone.

As far as landscapes, we live on one of the best planets around. Why not record
its beauty
and
funcionality.

Just remember after all ther oil is gone, and we have blown our selves all to
bits, we'll
look like any
other planet out there. Whats the point of photographing that.:-)

                                > While doing panoramas earlier today - at the
beach - a young woman asked me:
> Why do you take pictures?
> Out of nowhere, I came upp with this (rather arrogant) answer: Because I'm a

> I expected her to give me problems or to follow up on the question - but she
> didn't. To my big surprise, she accepted my answer.
> I will perhaps use the same answer again.
