It is true, Bob. A few months ago I hanged out a little bit in that
group, and those comments are typical.

As Adam said, some posters there do create interesting images, that
are at the same time accepted by the group. But the general rule is
that what could be considered "art by committee" is what makes it in.

Look at it this way: if good art were more popular, we pretentious
artsy types would have to make an even bigger effort to find stuff to
like.
