Jens, The last and only Irish in my family were my great-great grandparents. They moved to a mining community in Illinois probably in the 1870's or '80's. Their children married English miners in the area. Only the Irish name remains, but I celebrate on St.Patrick's day, have been known to 'tip a few', and share a forehead with the rest of the clan. Regards, Bob S.
