As you all know I have had some frustrations conserning speed. The time
between frames.
I sometimes find the *ist D (and DL) too slow for shooting panoramas with
people in them.
The people may move too much between the shots.

I have found a usable solution. Like most great ideas this one is very, very
simple:
The solution is to use film! Yes, film! And a scanner.

My MZ-S or P50 (with MEII winder) can do 36 frames as fast as I can EVER
move the camea from one position to annother. 2.5 FPS without stalling.
On top of that I get one more advantage. I need fewer shots, becase the
image angle is wider for the same focal length. With my 20mm I usually need
at least 16-17 shots. On a 35mm SLR I'll just need 10-12 shots. I wonder why
it took me so long to figure this out. And it's quite unexpensive too. The
only draw back is the cost of film and development and the time I use to
eventually scan the film.

Annother usable digital solution would be to use one shot technologies.
These products/companies provide usable solutions at different prices:

0-360
360 ONE VR Kaidan
Be Here Technologies
Remote Reality
EGG Solution

But of course this is more expensive and requires that I spend perhaps 1000
USD or more.

All the best
