I find that keeping the settings on the Nikons at "Normal" give the best. My 
sharpening is
about 50-75%. My istD 
sharpening is at least double.

Bill Fortney of Nikon was at GFM this year and i had a chanc e to talk to him 
for a
minute. He also agreed the Nikons are 
best wehn zeroing out the settings for sharpness tone etc.
