In the course of talking to Pentax repair in Colorado I asked (again) about repair on the FA28-70/4, notorious for its seperated rear element. I was told (this time) that they CAN repair it if I send it in to them. I will have it on the way to them Monday. For those of you that still have one of these, hang on a bit longer. I'll post to the list as soon as I get the verdict from Pentax.
