I have to admit though, that I personally, never got very far with this book. Time limits, but it is also a heavy read. Guess I'll try again now. Not sure if there is a RAW book for dummies, but I think a book I have mentioned before, Real World Digital Photography by Duggan and Eismann is pretty darn good. It's sort of digital for dummies although it goes into enough detail for those who want it. I haven't finished it either, but it has a good discussion of sensors and things like that. Also covers some basic PS. It made a lot of things clearer to me, just the parts I've managed to read so far.
