It was a beautiful sunny day here so I spent my lunchtime wandering around
the UW campus capturing infrared images. I got several very nice shots
- here's a couple of them.

Both shot with *istDS, DA18-55m zoom, and Hoya R72 filter. Both
tripod mounted and shot at 1/8s, F4.5, 800ISO. White balance &
curves adjusted in PS, red and blue channels flipped to get the false
colours.

Comments welcome....

This first doesn't do much for me, maybe too much pale blue sky. Also it's
almost evenly divided into thirds, which might fulfill the rule of thirds :-),
but there is no connecting thread between those thirds. So I'd probably like a
closer crop of some kind, probably with less sky.

I like the second much better, the road leading into the distance has nice
perspective. The tower looks sort of weird which fits the weird colors. Kind of
eerie.

But I suspect IR is not my cup of tea.
