"Cratch things"? I think you're referring to the bits of seed that the finch has pulled out of the feeder? That finch feeder is the "upside-down" type, which has the feed holes *below* the perches. Finches can easily hang upside-down from the perches and get the seeds but other birds can't (it's fun to watch the sparrows try sometimes, though). >nice bokeh :) I've been very surprised at the good bokeh that lens produces.
