The list is gasping for breath. It seems that very few messages are
getting through. I sent about five today. Only one made it to my
mailbox. And I've received only about a dozen overall.

I've had problems with the list for the last year or so. Never sure it
doesn't have something to do with me unsubscribing and subscribing repeatedly.

But it does seem worse lately. Not seeing original posts, not seeing 1/2 of
my own posts show up in my in box, and missing some threads altogether. (I
looked at the archive and frank recently posted a biker shot and got replies
and
never saw that thread at all.)

I could say it's AOL, and I like complaining about AOL. :-) But, truthfully,
I've never had this happen with any of my other email and not with other
mailing lists that I have been on at various times. Not that I have ever been
aware
of, anyway. AOL has lots of spam filters, it's true, but what it seems to do
is to shuffle spam off into a spam in box so I can check them myself. No PDML
mail has ever gone into the spam in box.

So I don't think it is all downstream from Doug. But I will be patient and
see if he can tweak things so they work a bit better.

Yes, it's getting highly aggravating (especially since I've been showing
PESOs and one GESO lately, and I don't always).

I keep wondering if I should wait to post any more PESOs. And it is also
making me hesitate to post replies to others' posts because I am not sure if
they
will ever see them. Or if they will look into the archive to see them.

I may not be the only one hesitating. Which would certainly also cut down on
traffic.

BTW, I made a comment on your last photo, Paul, but it never showed up in my
in box.
