Just had a play with the AF280T which seems to fire at full power whatever I do with the camera.

It's actually quite easy to set the aperture to get the right flash with a static subject, but will be a PITA in real life.

But they do not do TTL metering with the DL/DL2. If the flash units
have their own metering system, that will work.

I'll have to check but I seem to have been very lucky so far if that's the case.
