Forget Russia and it is. In fact it's smaller than 2 Canadian Provinces (Quebec, if you count north-south vs. east-west, and Ontario)

don't go confusing Europe and the European Union. Europe stretches from the Urals to the Atlantic, and is much larger than North America. The European Union occupies a remote peninsula on the westernmost tip of Europe.
