Auto ISO is just another ISO selection. You can just select a fixed ISO
or Auto ISO. In addition, if you are in Auto ISO, you can limit how high
the ISO can go (400, 800, 1600, or 3200).
I think it is a pretty convenient feature, especially in variable low
light situations.
