GFM = GrandFather Mountain. It is a high point in the Appalachian Mountains in North Carolina which has been turned into an Eco-preserve and private park. It is the site of an annual Nature Photography weekend that many of us are attending. It includes a smaller bit of winding road up to the peak of the mountain with a short stretch of 15-20% grade and a hairpin turn. Your picture causes those who have been there to visualize it. Regards, Bob S.
