Until Saturday I had had the same cell phone for about 7 years. But it was getting very flaky and kept switching itself off for long periods of time. So on Saturday I went into a shop to see about getting a replacement, expecting it all to cost me a lot of money which I didn't want to pay (this sort of thing is a grudge purchase for me). They gave me - yes, gave, completely free of charge - a t-mobile MDA Compact (same as an iMate Jam), which runs Windows Mobile, gets my email from several accounts, Outlook calendar, notes etc. etc., in much the same way as a Blackberry. It seems very useful, and I didn't even have to change the number.
I was amazed to learn that they give these things away. -- Cheers, Bob > -----Original Message----- > From: graywolf [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: 06 April 2006 01:37 > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: OT - Treo 650 question > > For $300 bucks (difference in over all costs) I will put up > with that annoyance.
