I'm with Bob on this. I never want sound from a web page unless I request it specifically.

The animation graphics here are cute once but tiresome. Imagine a prospective client going to the site several times in the course of discussing you with colleagues and having to sit through the simulation of typing your name each time. The slow performance is a significant detraction, the graphics and animation don't add anything substantive to the presentation of your resume or work.

IMO, clean, snappy performance, even over a telephone line (I was browsing it over 802.11g wireless, connected by high-speed aDSL and it was sluggish) is essential to a professional quality web page.

Maybe I'm just an old fogey, Paul, but I find web sites with sound effects just annoying. I'm usually listening to music when I'm browsing. I'd prefer a button to turn the sound off.

I don't like the main page at all, since I can't tell what it's supposed to be. The photos in your portfolio are excellent, but this just doesn't fit with them at all.

No, I didn't get up on the wrong side of the bed this morning! ;-)
