Thanks for the pointer. It's interesting but it's just a pity that his 
monitor/cal tool appraisals appear to be very heavily biased towards highlight 
detail so much so that they seem incongruous with his written appraisal of each 
management system. It's a good review none the less and his open letter to the 
cal tool manufacturers certainly makes sense. Interestingly too he has produced 
an "Interactive Color Gamut Comparisons" tool like the one I have often 
referred to.

I'm pretty happy with my Spyder2Pro system however like he says it's very slow 
(but accurate) and it does address quite a few of the issues that he has 
presented in his open letter. I wasn't aware that my highlights were lacking 
detail but I figure if I don't clip them I'm pretty safe, I'm happier being 
able to accurately peer into my shadows and have a very well corrected gray 
scale working space (across two dissimilar monitors).
