Very nice pics, Godfrey. I hope the exhibition is a success.

As one of only a small number of people on this list who actually knows Ramsey (I presume), I was initially slightly disappointed that there were very few pictures that identify the town as such.

However, on reflection, I suppose that it is actually one of the less obviously picturesque towns on the island, and perhaps that prompts a concentration on people and details - which you have done to great effect. I especially like the two bathers, and indeed all the people shots are superb.

Here, just to show that Ramsey is not all black and white, is a picture of the swinging harbour bridge. Bit over-saturated, but it was taken on a typically dull day.

hallo y'all,

"Ramsey" was installed at the cafe yesterday. All went very well. I have a little clean-up work to do there today but it looks good already.

I spent some time tweaking the website based upon user feedback:

- changed the controls a little bit to reflect where you are and how to get from one place to another in the site

- changed the order of the controls ... it's now "exhibits", "concepts", "collections", "biography", "contact"

- started populating the "collections" page

- Tested it on Mac OS X with Safari and Firefox, on Windows with Netscape and Internet Explorer.

More collections will be added today/tomorrow.
Give it a try and tell me what you think.
