I like the shot. Looking at a web image without my glasses, it's
difficult for me to tell if the immediate foreground is sharp. However,
I agree that it should be in a photo of this sort. Idealy, this is
something you'd shoot at f22 and make it all as sharp as possible. Or,
open up to about f4 and focus on the barrel. Two different pictures.
Either or both could be very good. However, as I said, I think this is
an excellent subject, well composed.
