I shot some frames with the DA 12-24 and the FA 50/1.4 in approximately the 
same light a few days ago. To tell the truth, the FA 50/1.4 RAWs struck me as 
slightly cooler at the time. However, I wasn't trying to compare anything and 
the light could have changed a bit. In any case, the DA 12-24 is a wonderful 
lens. Minor variations of color balance are, of course, irrelevant if you shoot 
raw.
