OK, I didn't notice the aperture values of those lenses on the "road map", but you are right, some of them are fast! So, the new lenses are DA lenses (not for full frame/film). Some of the FA* lenses was power-zooms, not supported by recent bodies (MZ-S, *ist-line generation). (snip)
Small correction - the MZ-S *does* support power zoom, although not as completely as the PZ-1/1z did (lens "parking" does not pull the lens down to its shortest length). Regards, Jim
