I think, however, it is for stereo! :-) On a serious note, I've noticed that indeed, eBay has been crazy about FA/F 50 1.4 (as well as 1.7) in the past couple months, and indeed some lenses go at prices at or above those at B&H (Adorama lists it "out of stock"). BTW, it was interesting to see one active eBay trader who was selling and buying several 50/1.7's at the same time. The purchase price was far from being too low, and was rather close to the selling price. Perhaps Pentax is telling us to order two FA 300 F2.8s in lieu of one FA 600 F4. 300 F2.8 + 300 F2.8 = 600 F4 Joe
