In a way, yes. I won't post pictures on the local meetup.com photography site, for example, because I strongly disagree with their posted policy on copyright. I wouldn't have sent pictures to Pentax without any explanatory statement. But I found the followup message, explaining how the photographs were to be used, to be more than sufficient.
