I suspect you're right.  It's a little disappointing - I'd hoped to see
the D follow-on some time this year - but not entirely unexpected.  After
all, Nikon had the D100 out for quite some time before the D showed up;
there could well be as large a gap between the D200 and the next Pentax.

On the upside this probably means I can spend more on glass this year.
The big decision is probably whether to get the 10-17 or the 12-24.
At the moment I'm leaning towards the 10-17, and getting a 16-45 as well.
