I placed an order for the DA 10-17 three weeks ago with Adorama. B&H has had it in stock for a couple of weeks. Once again, Adorama can't get stock of a newly-released lens while others can. This happened also with the DA 40. That time I cancelled the order with Adorama and got it from B&H. But B&H's price on the DA 10-17 is $80 higher than Adorama's. Have to wonder why Adorama has such problems getting delivery on new Pentax lenses.
I've been watching Adorama for signs of this lens too. My guess it that they have ordered grey market stock and it hasn't arrived yet. Adorama seems to have fallen into sloppy business practices lately, IMO.
It's easy to be the low-price seller if you don't have to deliver the goods at that price!
