Mine is plenty good enough. My most used lens on the DS as it is small and
light, does many jobs well and fits the camera nicely.
There is some, not much, chromatic aberration and some distortion at each
end of the zoom. These faults can be corrected in PhotoShop if they cause
a problem. Seldom necessary.

I concur. Probably the best of the 18-55's on the amrket and shockingly
good for a kit lens. I used it to cover wides only ater I got the 28-75
f2.8 Tamron, but it's still a great little lens for the money.
