So far, I've just used a bit of Enhanced Matte, which I thought looked kind of dead..

I use it with my 2000P, & and with the the right image it really is impressive.

I admit to rather pedestrian tastes when it comes to paper...

Same here. I mainly user Enhanced Matte, Semi Gloss, Premium Luster & Water Color.

Good to hear you're enjoying it. I'd have gone that way myself if the number of 16x20 prints I was doing justified it, but the R2400 is proving to be a great workhorse for me.

I've been concentrating on matte surface papers ... Epson Enhanced Matte and a little Velvet Fine Art so far. Very very nice results. I do want to try some Hahnemuele, though I'll probably be spoiled if I do.

So far, I've just used a bit of Enhanced Matte, which I thought looked kind of dead, but that might be the Photo Black ink rather than the Matte Black ink, and the Premium Lustre. A friend gave me some Epson Watercolour Paper, which looked like it might be good for some things. I admit to rather pedestrian tastes when it comes to paper, so far, I am quite liking the Premium Lustre. I am loath to change over to Matte Black ink, for cost resons. The 4800 won't do it on the fly, and seems to need 75 bucks worth of ink to make the changeover.
