Pål ======== I roll my own. ;-) In other words, there is very little substitution for learning basic HTML. Adobe Elements (1-4, I think) can churn out a fairly good web gallery. But when I have done that (a few times) I still have to go in and change it a bit using HTML because I don't like the defaults. 1. Not too many fonts. San serif is actually harder to read (for large blocks of text) than serif. But san serif is good for titles and things. 2. Not too many colors. 3. Keep it simple and understated. People are there to look at your photos. 4. Best way is to go to other people's photo pages. If you find something you like the style of then save it to your HD. The pull it up (off line) and right click and View Source. You'll find out whether it would be hard to duplicate it (without copying it exactly, of course) by examining the HTML they used. 5. http://www.annabella.net/html.html I am sure there are better tutorials around, but this is the one I used to learn HTML, oh, those many long years ago. It has the advantage of being simple and has been in existence for quite some time. (Not kidding about the, oh, those many long years ago.) 6. Or join a site where they do it for you.
