This is the set that I have:

There are no electronic contacts to transmit aperture information to the body, the mechanical aperture coupling is there for cameras that use it. Neither is there any AF drive pass-through, so "Quick Focus" wouldn't apply.

All lenses operate as manual focus, M series or K-mount lenses with auto-iris operation. With the DS, this requires Manual exposure mode.

Godfrey,
Can you (or someone) tell me if the "B" tubes allow A-auto program
operation? If not, which tube set?
Not that I intend to use Program setting, but the meter/shutter require
an "A" capability lens in order to allow "Quick Focus" operation with
the MZ-S.

Thanks!

I bought a set of Pentax Automatic K mount tubes from a vendor on
Ebay last year. NOS ... in box with case and all papers they were $65

or so. Automatic means that they operate the auto-diaphragm
mechanism ... no electronic connection so all lenses operate as
manual K-mount lenses do.

Anyone got some K-mount extension tubes for sale? Cheap?
Uncoupled is fine.
I've got an experiment in mind.
