Darby Chang tested the DA 40 on a film camera and posted the results on the web (I forget where). The results showed some fall-off in the corners when wide open (about 1 stop, IIRC), but not worse than a lot of standard lenses when wide open. -- Mark Roberts Photography and writing www.robertstech.com
