Actually, my parents have commented on the squirrels here. They moved
down from NYC. They noted how much smaller they are than the ones back
home. They even joked about how cute they were.
They stopped laughing when they started to struggle trying to keep them
from getting into the bird feeders. I believe I have a picture of one
of them actually inside on of the feeders!
Not necessarily older and slower - the squirrels that is :-),
