Yes, I was going to mention Rodinal, but the question was about powder
developers.

I recently found an original, sealed glass bottle of Rodinal that I
purchased in 1969.  It'll be interesting to see how well it works 

Just for the record, I'd not trust any liquid developer (other than
Rodinal) to have a long shelf life after it's been opened.
