Hey there Trevor!!

How’s things!?! It’s lovely to hear from one of the “old clan”.

I haven’t been lurking on the PDML for some time now. I just find that
I can’t fit it into my day anymore, things are just too crazy in my
life!

Yup, I’m still using the *istD – I just got through a wedding season
(Sept, Oct, Nov) where I shot no less than 30 weddings and it is still
going strong!!

The bike ride is still on the cards, however, we have some major
changes afoot and unfortunately, may be forced to postpone it yet again.
Steve and I are getting married on Valentine’s Day, which in itself
doesn’t affect the bike ride, BUT, we have just discovered that we are
also expecting a baby! Soooo, I will be around 7-8 months pregnant
during the ride, and obviously, that is not the most optimal condition
for riding in!

So, back to the drawing board at present to come up with some kind of a
solution.

Suffering MAJOR morning (well, all day) sickness at present, so just
trying to get through that is in itself a huge mission. I usually
remain really sick until I am well over 6 months preggers, so I have
about another 4 months of that to look forward to as well.

Aaaand, to top it all off, amidst wedding preparations, morning
sickness, shooting and bookwork for the business etc, we are also moving
house in a couple of weeks time! Like I said, it is craaaazy around
here!

The kids are great, and I’ve enjoyed a 4 week break over Christmas as
they went to be with their Dad. Missing them like crazy though, and
can’t wait for their return in just over 1 week. My daughter in
particular is a bit worried that I will have replaced her with the new
baby by the time they get back, as we only discovered the pregnancy
after they’d left, and she can’t quite comprehend what it all means at
the moment. I just can’t wait to give her a great big kiss and cuddle!

Anyways, it was great to hear from you, and I may even resubscribe to
the PDML just to let them know that I’m still breathin’ – but feel free
to fill them in on all my news if you like, and give them all a shout
out for me.

Hope you had a great Chrissy and New Year!
 Hugs,

Tan.
