A few months ago my ancient floppy drive finally died and I decided it would a good idea to have one around, just in case. So I bought a Mitsumi floppy/memory card reader combo. Fits in the same size spot as my old floppy drive and also has slots for multiple types of memory cards. The floppy drive sends and receives data through a standard floppy drive cable and the card reader data is sent via USB2 to a USB2 connector on my motherboard. Works great and it means my card reader is built into the computer tower instead of taking up space on my desk. -- Mark Roberts Photography and writing www.robertstech.com
