I like the concept and have tried something similar, photographing the view from my bedroom window every morning at a certain time.
Based on what I've seen of your work, and my preferences for something "more" in a photo, you might want to continue what you're doing but show more than just a small piece of the sky - perhaps a whole frame or maybe including some landscape along with the skyscape. But, it's your project ... however, if can't see a point to it, then perhaps you might want to rethink continuing with the project.
