I don't really know how to put this but I have been engaged in what seems
today an absolutely pointless photo project. Today is the day I decide
whether I want to go on with this silliness so I kinda wanted to solicit
your opinions about this.

I have set up a camera to photograph the sky from my window every 30
minutes. A script then cuts out a 100x100 pixel square from that and
uploads it to my server. This is April 2005 as seen by that camera
(reduced to 10%, the original is 3000x4800 pixels):

In that picture you can see that the days get longer, some days are
cloudy, some sunny and some even sport terrific sunrises, but not much
more than that. I have the whole 2005 like this. What use could this be
except making the one puzzle to wear out all puzzle addicts?

Those of you who read Auggie Wren's Christmas Story, that Shel Belinkoff
sent to the list, will recognize a vague similarity. No, I didn't steal
the camera from a blind woman :)
