US scientists believe English soccer is more exciting!

I couldn't help but notice that these were scientists working at the Los Alamos National Laboratory! These are the fellows constantly working on nuclear weapons and other top-secret military technology. I wonder what led them to explore which sport was the most exciting?

Is that new impenetrable missile defense system already completed, and they had some free time to kill? ;)

Is finding the most exciting sport somehow crucial to national defense in a post 9-11 world? :)

I notice that Cotty left out the part about US baseball being the most exciting sport, if you only look at data from the last 10 years. It appears that English soccer WAS the most exciting sport, up until 10 years ago, but is now in second place to "America's national pastime." ;)

take care,
Glen
