KEH has two for under US$700 (approx AUD 1000), one rated excellent
and the other excellent plus.
If it's the one in Michael's Camera in Melbourne, it has been sitting there
a long time. Their prices are expensive in comparison to other local
dealers, which is why their Pentax stuff hangs around.
FWIW, the SMCT 500/4.5 is identical except for the mount and may be founf
much cheaper. It's up to you to decide how much it is worth to avoid using
the M42 -> K adapter.
