And of course you remember Blackstone Avenue on the south side of old Chicago town. Not to mention the Blackstone Rangers, the Chicago street gang that used to chase me when I delivered pizzas on their turf. Our congress gave them credibility when they called their leader, Jeff Forte, to testify about gang problems during the Carter years. Diana Ross gave them more ammunition when she sang about the "Peacestone Nation" After that, they killed a lot of people and made a lot of money selling drugs. Mighty, mighty Blackstone. But I digress.
